Jodi Skeris was born and raised in Grafton, WI. As a kid, Jodi loved the stage and entered the spotlight as a competitive cheerleader for 13 years and did choreography for 7 years. After graduating college she worked as an art director in Madison where she decided to train in kungfu at ZYKFA.

In ’04 she moved to NY where she discovered longform improv at both UCB and the Magnet Theaters. She played on Magnet Theater’s Improv House Teams “Pax Romana” and “Moxie.” Jodi has written and performed two one-woman shows “Cheer up Double Cupie” and “Adorable Balls” at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater. She also studied musical improv with the workshop team “Sweet Tooth.” Jodi also attended jazz, ballet and hip hop classes at Broadway dance during her stint in NY.

Currently she lives in sunny San Francisco where she keeps on her creative toes with vocal lessons, hip hop dance classes, and voice over classes with Elaine Clark and Terry McGovern. She is a performer in the longform improv troupe HoboFish and has also performed in a series of musical improv shows with UnScripted Theater.
